Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, visited Dorim-dong, Daerim-dong, and Singil-dong on the morning of the 5th to inspect safety-vulnerable facilities in preparation for summer safety accidents.
To prevent safety accidents caused by disasters such as summer heatwaves and heavy rainfalls and to identify risk factors in advance to protect the safety of residents, Mayor Choi Ho-kwon and related department staff conducted joint inspections.
On this day, Mayor Choi thoroughly inspected the Daerim 3 Retention Basin Comprehensive Sports Facility construction site, retaining walls, stone walls, and other safety-vulnerable facilities, checking the appropriateness of construction site safety management and the stability of repair and reinforcement measures for safety-vulnerable facilities, confirming the on-site management status of each facility.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, “Due to environmental pollution, extreme heatwaves and localized heavy rains caused by abnormal climate are occurring frequently,” adding, “We will do our best to ensure that residents can spend a safe summer without worry by continuously inspecting and removing risk factors in advance in preparation for summer safety accidents.”
