Breaking Down Data Silos Through Public Data Opening and Utilization
Promoting Data Sharing, Integration, and Collaborative Analysis
The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum) and the Government Employees Pension Service (Gongmuwon Yeongeum) have joined forces to realize a digital platform government. On the 4th, the two organizations signed a business agreement at the Government Employees Pension Service headquarters in Jeju. Key officials, including Sahakyeongeum Chairman Song Hajung and Gongmuwon Yeongeum Chairman Kim Donggeuk, attended the signing ceremony.

Through this agreement, the two organizations aim to strengthen data sharing and cooperation to achieve the government's national agenda of "implementing the world's best digital platform government where all data is connected."
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ cooperation to realize and spread digital platform government policies and the introduction of the government's digital innovation technologies ▲ breaking down barriers through data sharing and linkage among joint participating institutions in support projects ▲ collaboration on data analysis for discovering and mutually utilizing public data. The two organizations plan to continuously promote technological cooperation necessary for opening and utilizing public data by introducing digital technologies such as generative AI and blockchain identity verification through AI technology and data sharing to improve their operations.
Chairman Song Hajung of Sahakyeongeum stated, "With the advancement of digital technology, customers' demands and expectations are becoming more diverse and higher," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide customized pension and welfare services to customers by utilizing digital innovation technologies."
Chairman Kim Donggeuk of Gongmuwon Yeongeum said, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen cooperation between the two organizations to build an AI and data industry ecosystem for the digital platform government and create new future value."
This agreement is expected to contribute to providing better services to the public through digital innovation by establishing a close cooperative system between the two organizations for implementing the digital platform government and promoting the opening and utilization of public data.
