In principle, the bereaved families must obtain visas through the consulate to enter the country. However, in this case, an exception has been made, and the Immigration Office and Hwaseong City are cooperating to help the families enter the country with arrival visas.

Currently, the Foreign Support Team of Hwaseong City's Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters is working together with the Hwaseong Foreigners Welfare Center and the Airport Immigration Office to support the families' entry. After the families arrive at the airport, the Hwaseong Foreigners Welfare Center provides escort and vehicle support with two teams of six people and safely hands them over to the Bereaved Families Countermeasures Team.

The city explained that since the 26th of last month, it has supported the transportation of 23 people and is providing interpretation services in Chinese and Lao. Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun of Hwaseong City said at the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters meeting, "Many of the bereaved families are visiting Korea for the first time and may not be familiar with the process," and urged, "Please ensure smooth support so that the families can safely move from the airport to their relatives."

Meanwhile, the city is also supporting the stay of 21 families, totaling 78 people, who have no place to reside in the country.
