Comprehensive Medical Services Provided at Dongnamhae Nonghyup
Gyeongnam Nonghyup and Namhae County in Gyeongnam held the 'Rural Visiting Medical Bus' service on the 5th in Murim-ri, Idong-myeon, Namhae County, providing medical care to over 250 local farmers and residents to address the lack of medical services in rural areas.
The 'Rural Visiting Medical Bus' (formerly the Farmer's Happiness Bus) is a project that offers comprehensive medical services, including medical checkups, dental examinations, vision tests, and support for reading glasses, to residents in rural areas where hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies are scarce.

The event was attended by Jang Chungnam, Namhae County Governor; Lee Yunhwa, Head of the Namhae County Branch of Nonghyup; Lee Eunyoung, President of Dongnamhae Nonghyup; and Kang Juseok, Head of the Rural Support Team at Gyeongnam Nonghyup.
Medical staff from Haetsalmaru participated in providing traditional Korean medicine services, as well as vision tests and reading glasses support.
Lee Eunyoung, President of Dongnamhae Nonghyup, said, "I am grateful to the volunteers who came to Namhae County and worked to improve the health and welfare of farmers," adding, "I hope this event offers some comfort and an opportunity to protect the health of farmers who are worn out from farm work."
Lee Yunhwa, Head of the Namhae County Branch of Nonghyup, said, "We are pleased to have the opportunity to provide medical support and welfare services to elderly farmers in rural areas through the Rural Visiting Medical Bus project," and added, "Gyeongnam Nonghyup will continue to take the lead in creating rural communities filled with hope and happiness through various welfare programs."
