Im Tae-hee, Superintendent of Education, "Paving a New Path for Gyeonggi Education and Moving Forward Boldly"

Im Tae-hee, Superintendent of Education, "Paving a New Path for Gyeonggi Education and Moving Forward Boldly" Im Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, is speaking at the 'Gyeonggi Education Open Symposium' held at the Suwon Southern Government Building on the 5th to review the achievements of his two-year tenure and to present the direction of future education in Gyeonggi.

Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, emphasized on the 5th that "Gyeonggi education can boldly take new paths and even create new paths when there is a new change."

Superintendent Lim Tae-hee made these remarks at the ‘Gyeonggi Education Open Symposium’ held at the Suwon Southern Office to review the achievements of his two years in office and to present the direction of Gyeonggi future education.

The symposium, themed ‘Gyeonggi Education Created through Change, Opportunity, and Challenge: Its Achievements and Future Directions,’ was attended by about 400 people including students, parents, faculty members, representatives of the policy advisory committee, pledge implementation evaluation team, and community figures.

The symposium was conducted under the themes of ▲ Reflecting on Gyeonggi Education ▲ New Gyeonggi Education ▲ Collaborative Gyeonggi Education.

In his greeting, Superintendent Lim Tae-hee expressed gratitude, saying, "I have gained pride in Gyeonggi education policies because those present here have pooled their wisdom and thoughtfully considered the direction over the past two years."

He continued, "The starting point of education is understanding why public education is shrinking and why parents think education cannot be achieved without relying on private education," adding, "Gyeonggi education must establish itself as a vessel that can accommodate diverse demands both quantitatively and qualitatively in public education."

In particular, he urged, "Changes must be felt on the ground, and students, parents, and faculty members must spread consensus that public education is indeed the direction to move forward," emphasizing, "Education families should think critically rather than accept unconditionally, observe with sharp eyes, and always make corrections when necessary."
