Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 5th that it signed a business agreement with the nonprofit organization Kkumteulli (Chairman Oh Yeonho) the day before at the Life School in the island village of Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, to promote the 'Seo-gu Happiness School.'

Seo-gu Happiness School is a child-friendly project unique to Seo-gu that supports adolescents and their parents in understanding their aptitudes and desires and developing the ability to design their own future in a changing world.
On this day, the two organizations promised to ▲ jointly develop and operate the Seo-gu Happiness School happiness education program ▲ share the operational philosophy of Denmark's Efterskole and Hojskole and jointly utilize educational resources to revitalize Seo-gu Happiness School ▲ cooperate on projects necessary for the development of the institutions and the spread of happiness in the local community.
Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, “We met Kkumteulli after continuously considering projects for adolescents and their caregivers who are interested in the self beyond learning,” adding, “Through this business agreement, I hope it becomes a meaningful opportunity for both organizations to work together so that children can independently design their lives and move toward happiness.”
Meanwhile, the nonprofit organization Kkumteulli discovered that Denmark's Efterskole, a life school for youth, and Hojskole, a life school for adults, greatly contributed to making Denmark a happy society. Based on Efterskole, they operate the Kkumteulli Life School in Ganghwa-do, and based on Hojskole, they operate the Sinan Island Village Life School.
