A couple who left their children in the indoor play area of a restaurant without dining there, instead eating at another restaurant, has sparked controversy.

On the 1st, a post titled "A customer from another store, not mine, is causing trouble in my store" was uploaded to an online community. A self-employed person, Mr. A, who runs a restaurant located inside a shopping mall, began by saying, "People who are not customers of my store quietly left their children in our play area while I was busy."

Mr. A explained the situation, saying, "They left their child in my store and were eating at another restaurant, so I politely approached the customers and explained, 'Only customers of this store are allowed to use the play area.' At first, it seemed they accepted it, but shortly after, the same child came back into the play area and was playing." When Mr. A scolded an employee who failed to prevent the child from entering, the child's father reportedly angrily said, "Are you scolding me now?"

When the child's father got angry, Mr. A demanded, "I don't know what you are doing. This is my store, and since you are not our customers, please leave." However, the child's father swore in front of the children and verbally abused Mr. A while pointing his finger at him. Mr. A claimed, "He criticized my store by comparing it to the neighboring store, saying, 'This place looks like a dump,' and 'This restaurant will soon go out of business.'"

Mr. A lamented, "I never expected a customer from another store to use my store's facilities so boldly. Although the restaurant entrance is open inside the shopping mall, anyone can tell it’s a different store. It’s really disappointing. I feel so disgusted that I can’t do business."
