BNK Busan Bank Delivers Fund to Support Children from Low-Income Families

Total of Approximately 7.4 Billion Won Accumulated in Development Fund Provided

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) delivered approximately 786 million KRW to the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education on the 5th as part of the “Fund to Support Children from Low-Income Families.”

Every year, Busan Bank accumulates a portion of the usage amount from the “Busan Education Love Card,” which is issued to public officials and private school staff under the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, and delivers it to the Office of Education.

Since 2005, the total amount delivered through the “Fund to Support Children from Low-Income Families” has reached approximately 7.4 billion KRW, which is used annually to support meal expenses for children from low-income families in the region.

Bang Seongbin, President of Busan Bank, stated, “I hope the Busan Education Love Card will become even more widely used, providing more opportunities to support local low-income families,” and added, “Busan Bank will continue to develop public-interest financial services and do our best to create social value.”

Busan Bank has continued practical support projects that provide real help to low-income families, including the Chuseok Sharing Project, Lunar New Year Sharing Project, BNK Scholarship Support, and support for the pediatric and adolescent emergency medical system at Busan Medical Center.
