Development of Station Area Specialization Projects
Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Nogwan-gyu) announced that it is recruiting applicants for the 2024 Resident Proposal Contest for the urban regeneration project area around the station district (Jogok, Pungdeok, Deokyeon) until the 19th.
This contest project is conducted in a way that residents directly propose and implement projects needed for the village, aiming to form a resident activity community in the station district and to revitalize and establish the foundation for small-scale village festivals.
The city plans to support up to 5 million KRW for general contest projects such as activation of key spaces, and up to 10 million KRW for planned contest projects such as regional specialization projects.
Applicants can apply by visiting the Station District Field Support Center with the required documents, including the project plan posted on the city website's notices and announcements, or by submitting via email.
After document and face-to-face evaluations, the final selection will be made, and applicants will complete an accounting training course before starting the respective projects from September.
