'HBM Boom' Equipment Sales Surge... Hanmi Semiconductor Targets 1.2 Trillion KRW Sales Next Year

"New Equipment Released Annually for 3 Years Starting This Year"
"Securing World's Largest TC Bonder Production Capacity Next Year"

Kwak Dong-shin, Vice Chairman of Hanmi Semiconductor, announced plans to launch next-generation TC bonder equipment and raise sales targets. This comes as the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) market is rapidly expanding.

Vice Chairman Kwak stated on the 5th, "We plan to release the 2.5D Big Die TC Bonder in the second half of this year, the Mild Hybrid Bonder in the second half of next year, and the Hybrid Bonder in the second half of 2026." He added, "This year's sales target is 650 billion KRW, next year’s is 1.2 trillion KRW, and for 2026, we are raising the sales target to 2 trillion KRW."

Hanmi Semiconductor’s TC Bonders are manufactured at six factories on a 23,000-pyeong site at the Incheon headquarters, based on the world’s largest 210 core component processing production facilities. This reflects 44 years of accumulated expertise. Craftsmen with over 30 years of field experience produce the TC Bonders through six stages of inspection including processing, assembly, wiring, and testing, conducting 1,000 different inspection items.

To become a professional engineer, one must be trained by craftsmen with over 30 years of field experience. Only those who have undergone more than 10 years of training and completed special education courses are awarded the professional engineer title.

Since 2022 and for three consecutive years through this year, Hanmi Semiconductor has been the only domestic company to be listed among the world’s top 10 equipment companies selected by TechInsights, a global semiconductor research specialist.

Hanmi Semiconductor recently opened its sixth factory. Currently, it can produce 264 TC Bonders annually, at a rate of 22 units per month. With an additional 20 billion KRW scale core component processing production facility, it is expected to achieve the world’s largest TC Bonder production capacity of 420 units per year (35 units per month) next year, significantly shortening delivery times. Additional land for factory expansion is planned to be secured within this year.

Vice Chairman Kwak emphasized, "We adhere to 'Made in Korea' to consistently provide customers with the highest quality."
