The second season of the 'Tower of God' animation, based on the Naver Webtoon, will be simultaneously released worldwide on the 7th.
Naver Webtoon announced on the 1st that the second season of the Tower of God animation, titled 'Return of the Prince,' will be pre-released with subtitles and dubbing on the domestic animation specialty channel 'AniPlus' at 11 PM on the 7th. One hour later, starting at midnight, it will be available on Naver Series On, TVING, Watcha, Wavve, and Laftel.
In Japan, it can be watched nationwide through terrestrial TOKYO MX and BS Nittere (日テレ), as well as online video services (OTT) such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. In North America and Europe, it will be released simultaneously (local time) on the animation streaming platform Crunchyroll. It will also be available on Crunchyroll in other Asian regions such as Singapore and Hong Kong.
The second season of the 'Tower of God' animation tells the story of the protagonist, the boy 'Bam,' who, after completing the final test in the vast tower, returns six years later to find his only friend, 'Rachel.' It is produced by the Japanese animation studio The Answer Studio and features popular Japanese anime voice actors such as Taichi Ichikawa and Yuma Uchida.
The original 'Tower of God' was discovered on Naver Webtoon's Challenge Comics. It is a representative fantasy webtoon serialized since 2010, with a global cumulative view count reaching 5.3 billion. Based on a solid reader fandom, it is expanding the webtoon intellectual property (IP) base into animations, games, printed books, and merchandise.
