Polaris Office, Major Update Targeting AI Killer App... UX Innovation

Polaris Office announced on the 5th that it is embarking on a user experience (UX) innovation by implementing a major update that integrates the latest generative AI technology into its product, 'Polaris Office AI.'

With this update, users can now use OpenAI's image generation model, Dall-E 3, directly within the Polaris Office document editing screen. The AI image generation feature ‘Dall-E 3’ allows users to create highly comprehensible images with short commands.

Additionally, the Stable Diffusion 3 feature has been upgraded to enable photo-realistic image output. The recently released Claude 3.5 Sonnet model has also been applied, allowing users to obtain high-quality writing results and AI-generated responses.

Alongside the large-scale AI feature update, the company has prepared special benefits for donation activities and paid subscribers. As part of a donation event commemorating the 10th anniversary of its cloud service, the collected funds were donated to the Biodiversity Foundation, and a lecture was held for paid subscribers. The Biodiversity Foundation is led by Choi Jaecheon, a world-renowned biologist and professor at Ewha Womans University. The lecture was conducted by Lee Haeseok, Chief AI Officer (CAIO) of Polaris Office Group, and Choi Jaecheon, Chairman of the Biodiversity Foundation.

The company plans to continue hosting lecture series by inviting prominent figures from various fields in the future. The goal is to provide subscribers with opportunities to gain insights from diverse areas along with improving work productivity.

Lee, the CAIO, said, “This update and donation event are efforts to provide greater value to our customers,” adding, “We will continue to enhance user satisfaction through ongoing innovation.”

He continued, “Although various AI services are being launched, it may be difficult for consumers to utilize all of them,” and stated, “We aim to make Polaris Office, a cloud-based AI-optimized platform, the AI killer app.”
