A South Korean Army major helped transport an elderly man who had collapsed from a stroke to the hospital and quietly disappeared, a story that was revealed later. On the 1st, the Facebook page 'Delivering on behalf of the Army Training Center' (Yukdaejeon) posted a story stating, "On the morning of the 27th around 9 a.m., an elderly man collapsed from a stroke in Eoron-ri, Nam-myeon, Inje, Gangwon Province." The author, Mr. A, said, "To quickly transport him to the hospital, the guardian needed to arrive promptly."

It was a situation that could have turned serious, but at that moment, a reliable supporter appeared. A man dressed in an Army uniform appeared from somewhere, accompanied the elderly guardian grandmother, helped get the guardian and the sick elderly man into the ambulance, and then quietly left. Mr. A said, "It was such a hectic and urgent situation that I only remember that he was an Army major," adding, "The major left after saying, 'I just did what was natural.'"

He concluded, "Although late, I want to express my gratitude once again here," and added, "I felt once again that the Republic of Korea soldiers are always the strongest shield for the people." Netizens who read the story praised him, saying, "You did really well," "Thank you always in this hot weather," and "A soldier's pride comes more from protecting than winning."

The page often shares warm stories related to soldiers. In April, an animal protection organization posted a story expressing comfort and encouragement to Sergeant Byeon Yun-seop of the Army, who covered a dog hit by a roadkill with his own uniform and controlled traffic.

At that time, the author, Mr. B, said, "On April 17, a Jindo dog was moved to our organization's temporary shelter in Yangju, but on the morning of the 18th, the temporary guardian lost the dog," adding, "We searched for the dog until the 19th but had no success. Then, late in the afternoon on the 19th, someone contacted us saying, 'A soldier is controlling traffic and taking care of the dog.'"

Mr. B expressed gratitude, saying, "When I rushed to the scene, the dog was lying cold on the road, having been hit by a vehicle. Sergeant Byeon did not ignore the dog but covered it with his own uniform and watched over its last moments. For the suffering dog on the road and to prevent secondary accidents, he stopped his path, controlled traffic, and took care of the dog."
