Jongno-gu to Hold College Admission Information Session on the 26th of This Month

Jongno-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Munheon) will hold the '2025 Academic Year University Admission Information Session' at Sungkyunkwan University 600th Anniversary Hall on the 26th of this month. The event will begin at 7 PM with a special lecture for examinees and parents, followed by an introduction to Sungkyunkwan University departments and application strategies.

The special lecture, titled "Changes in University Admissions After 2025 and Success Roadmaps by Admission Types," will be led by Lee Manki, director of Uway Education Evaluation Research Institute, a top expert in domestic admissions.

The lecture will cover recent admission trends such as the first increase in medical school admissions in 27 years, the 'undeclared major system' where students enter without specifying a particular major or department, and the 'Satam Run' where students choose social studies for one of two inquiry subjects. It will also provide extensive information on the characteristics and application strategies for each early admission type in 2025, as well as preparation methods by grade level.

Not only examinees and parents but also any interested residents can apply for participation on the Jongno-gu website starting from the 8th. Jongno-gu will provide materials on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the session only to those who applied online in advance. On-site participation on the day is also possible.
