Silla University (President Heo Namsik) held the ‘2024 Dream Start Employment Camp’ through its University Job Plus Center.
The Silla University Job Plus Center hosted the employment camp from June 21 to 22 at The-K Hotel Gyeongju for 40 current students and graduates preparing for employment. The camp included programs such as △Developing an employment mindset for the MZ generation ▲How to write a self-introduction using ChatGPT ▲Job interviews with HR managers ▲Career portfolio team competitions.
The career portfolio competition held on the second day selected first to third place winners to award prize money, which received an enthusiastic response as it motivated students and strengthened their determination to find employment.
Jang Heejung, head of the Silla University Job Plus Center, stated, “This employment camp was a great opportunity for participants to not only develop the right employment mindset but also to understand the recruitment process and acquire job-seeking skills through job interviews with HR managers. We will continue to offer various programs to support the successful social advancement of current students, graduates, and local youth.”
Silla University, having been selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s University Job Plus Center project, is building its employment support functions and infrastructure to provide youth-specialized employment services and is doing its utmost to support young people’s entry into the labor market.
