Charges of Property Damage and Assault
A woman in her 30s was arrested by the police for opening an indoor fire hydrant valve in the underground parking lot of an apartment complex and spraying a powder fire extinguisher at a management staff member.
On the 4th, the Seongbuk Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating Ms. A without detention on charges of property damage and assault.
Ms. A is accused of arbitrarily opening the indoor fire hydrant valve in the parking lot of an apartment in Gireum-dong, Seongbuk-gu, at around 3:20 a.m. on the 8th of last month, and spraying a powder fire extinguisher at a management staff member who rushed over to close the valve after hearing the fire alarm.
It is reported that Ms. A is a resident of the apartment. The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
