Additional Operation of Geomdan and Luwon City Routes Next Month
Incheon City announced on the 4th that it will launch two new late-night exclusive city bus routes called 'Byeolbam Bus' for a pilot operation starting from the 20th.
First, the N50 bus departs from Gyeongin National Railway (Seoul Subway Line 1) Songnae Station at 11:50 PM and 12:30 AM, respectively, passing through Namdong Elementary School, Dorim Jugong 1 Complex, Suin-Bundang Line Soraepogu Station, Nonhyeon Middle School, and others.
The N81 bus departs from Airport Railroad Cheongna International City Station at 12:10 AM and 12:40 AM, stopping at Cheongna 6 Complex, Cheongna Lake Park, Cheongna 5 Complex, and Cheongna Prugio Rapiano.
The bus fare is 1,900 KRW for adults, 1,350 KRW for youth, and 800 KRW for children based on card payment; cash payment is not accepted, and a distance-based transfer fare system is applied.
Considering the special nature of late-night operation, Incheon City has separately hired transportation workers dedicated to late-night buses to ensure smooth night service.
The city plans to add two more routes next month connecting Airport Railroad Gyeyang Station to Geomdan New Town (N90) and Airport Railroad Geomam Station to Gajeong (Luwon City) Station (N80).
An official from Incheon City stated, "We will enhance public transportation convenience and guarantee safe mobility rights," adding, "We will continue to supplement and improve city bus services to increase citizen satisfaction."
