Cooperation with Four Institutes under the National Research Council of Science and Technology
The industry-academic cooperation groups of Tongmyong University (headed by Lee Kisoo) and Silla University (headed by Choi Insun), which are preparing for the Ministry of Education's "Glocal University 30" project, announced on the 4th that they have signed a business agreement with four regional institutes under government-funded research institutes affiliated with the National Research Council of Science and Technology to promote regional industry development and foster locally-rooted talent.
The four institutes are the Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Branch of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, the Busan Mechanical Technology Research Center of the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, the Southeast Technology Commercialization Headquarters of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, and the Busan Center of the Korea Basic Science Institute.
According to the agreement, which was conducted in writing, the Tongmyong University and Silla University alliance will establish a cooperative system in various fields, including the operation of the Future Mobility School, nurturing talent for future regional industries, joint research and technology exchanges, and mutual exchanges between faculty and researchers.
In addition, to achieve tangible results, the universities and each institute will actively utilize their human and material infrastructure and continue ongoing cooperation to nurture professional talent in related fields.
