On the 3rd, TJB reported the story of a man in his 50s who suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed while pushing a cart at a mart in Daejeon around 1 p.m. on June 30. CCTV footage at the time shows the man calmly shopping before suddenly collapsing to the floor, trembling all over and showing paralysis symptoms. His daughter, who was with him, was shocked and didn’t know what to do.
Everyone at the mart was hesitant to step forward. At that moment, a woman wearing a sky-blue dress ran over and immediately started performing CPR. As she moved, mart employees also rushed to secure the airway and massage his body, and as a result, the man regained consciousness four minutes after collapsing.

The woman in the sky-blue dress disappeared from the scene without leaving any personal information such as her name or contact details when the paramedics arrived. Later, after some inquiries, the woman was identified as Yoo Su-in, a veteran nurse with 19 years of experience.
Ms. Yoo explained the situation, saying, "'He said, 'I can't breathe,' and then fell backward. At that moment, I thought this was cardiac arrest.' I instinctively felt I had to save the person quickly and perform CPR."
Thanks to Ms. Yoo, Mr. A, who regained consciousness, was discharged from the hospital after receiving simple treatment for bruises. The mart announced plans to present a plaque of appreciation to Ms. Yoo for her prompt emergency response that saved a life.
