RaonPeople adds 'H&H' rewards... 'Squat Challenge' app upgraded

AI health & fitness specialist H&H (hereinafter H&H) announced on the 4th that it will expand its service from July by newly adding a pedometer and reward function to the healthcare app 'Squat Challenge'.

In the upgraded Squat Challenge app, users can receive a 'Boost' worth up to 100 KRW daily upon achieving 50 squats and 5,000 steps. The accumulated Boost can be exchanged for cash within the app and used like real money. Additionally, the app analyzes and provides various data such as step count, squat count, exercise time, calories burned, and distance traveled, supporting users to effectively check their exercise habits through weekly reports.

Regarding this, an app official explained, "Recent research shows that aerobic exercise alone has limitations in overall health improvement, and it is very important to combine it with strength training. Aerobic exercises like walking help improve cardiopulmonary function, and combining them with strength exercises like squats increases muscle mass, which not only boosts basal metabolic rate but also leads to fat reduction and weight loss."

He added, "Maintaining muscle mass becomes increasingly important with age, and squats effectively train the large muscles of the lower body, preventing sarcopenia and providing excellent health benefits. Through this update, users will enjoy the dual benefits of health improvement and cash rewards, making it a win-win situation."

H&H, a joint venture between AI specialist Raon People and healthcare specialist Foodnamu, naturally supports strength training along with step counting through the app’s functions, guiding users to form balanced exercise habits. The company plans to provide services optimized for modern health management trends with healthcare programs based on AI and scientific data.
