Expectations for Revitalizing 'Cheonwon's Morning Meal' through Development Fund Donations
National Mokpo University (President Song Ha-cheol) announced on the 3rd that it donated 14,366,000 KRW in development funds to KB Kookmin Bank on the 2nd to support the "1,000 Won Breakfast" project.
The "1,000 Won Breakfast" is a government-supported project aimed at reducing the economic burden on university students by providing breakfast for 1,000 won, as well as helping to promote healthy eating habits. National Mokpo University has been participating in this project since the 2023 academic year and is focusing on its active promotion.

During the development fund donation ceremony, President Song Ha-cheol expressed his gratitude for the donation by presenting a plaque of appreciation to Park Hyo-joo, Head of the Mokpo Comprehensive Finance Center at KB Kookmin Bank.
President Song Ha-cheol said, “We are grateful to KB Kookmin Bank for their contribution to the activation of the 1,000 Won Breakfast for students,” and added, “We will continue to actively strive to provide students with a balanced, healthy, and delicious breakfast that fills their stomachs.”
Meanwhile, National Mokpo University operates a premium breakfast buffet restaurant year-round, not only during semesters but also during vacations, and student satisfaction is very high.
