Rental Housing Complex with 60 Units to Be Built on 5,000 sqm in Dangbon-ri, Anui-myeon
Applications for Tenants to Begin in 2027
Hamyang County in Gyeongnam signed a basic agreement for the Anyi Village Maintenance-type Public Housing Project on the afternoon of the 3rd in the county governor's office, with County Governor Jin Byeongyeong and Choi Jaeyeol, head of the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), in attendance.
This project was established to address the supply-demand imbalance of rental housing, which has been concentrated in Hamyang-eup, by expanding and supplying rental housing to the northern part of the region, and to improve residential conditions.

Through this agreement, the two organizations are expected to accelerate the project by defining their respective roles and other related matters.
Jin Byeongyeong, Governor of Hamyang County, said, "This agreement will help solve the housing shortage in the county and greatly improve the quality of life for local residents. We will continue to cooperate with Korea Land and Housing Corporation to promote various projects that can overcome the crisis of regional extinction."
Choi Jaeyeol, Head of the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, stated, "I am pleased that this agreement with Hamyang County will help solve rural housing problems and contribute to revitalizing the local economy. We will actively support the cooperation project with Hamyang County, which started with the Saehacho Small School Revitalization, to ensure its success."
The Anyi Village Maintenance-type Public Housing Project will create 60 rental housing units on approximately 5,000 square meters in Dangbon-ri, Anyimyeon. The project passed the Korea Land and Housing Corporation's Public Architecture Committee review last year, is scheduled to receive approval for housing construction from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in the second half of this year, and aims to start construction next year with resident recruitment planned for 2027.
