Moadata Launches ICT Disaster Recovery Solution PDR and Achieves GS Grade 1 Certification

MoaData, a company specializing in ICT infrastructure anomaly detection, announced on the 4th the launch of ‘PDR (Petaon DR)’, an ICT operation automation management solution that enables more efficient operation of IT infrastructure environments.

Accordingly, the company has expanded its product lineup from the existing anomaly detection AIOps solution, Petaon Forecaster, to include operation automation and disaster recovery, strengthening its market growth strategy.

The newly launched PDR has obtained GS (GOOD SOFTWARE) Grade 1 certification from the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology and has completed registration on the Korea ON-line E-Procurement System (KONEPS) comprehensive shopping mall. GS certification is a national certification system that evaluates software quality based on international standards, including functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, and security. It serves as an important indicator that enhances trust when public institutions and financial organizations adopt software.

The PDR solution assists in the efficient operation and management of IT systems across various customer environments and enables rapid service recovery in case of risk situations. It provides various detailed functions such as regular inspections, routine checks, and application operations when operating a main center or a standalone center. In environments operating disaster recovery centers or multiple data centers, it offers various functions necessary for disaster recovery to ensure stable and rapid service restoration.

In particular, the disaster recovery environment provides disaster recovery simulation training functions and offers a standardized procedural approach and automated startup to sequentially execute procedures, along with situation sharing through dashboards, delivering a fast and reliable operational environment.

The importance of disaster recovery automation lies in the need for services to continue operating despite various disasters such as natural disasters, social disasters, and technical failures of systems. In emergency situations caused by disasters, business operations may be interrupted, customer service issues may arise, and revenue losses may occur. Disaster recovery operation automation tools for rapid service recovery are essential elements of disaster recovery planning and operations. PDR focuses on enhancing the core values of ‘speed + reliability + accuracy + efficiency + sustainability,’ thereby improving the stability of ICT operations.

Han Sang-jin, CEO of MoaData, stated, "Since GS certification Grade 1 is a national certification system that recognizes technical skills and performance, obtaining GS certification for PETAON DR confirms the technology and product quality." He added, "Following the recent product launch and its adoption as a disaster recovery solution by Koscom, we plan to expand supply to existing customers across various industries as well as the financial, public, and enterprise markets."
