'Excellent Market Development' is a program aimed at discovering and spreading best practices for the digital transformation of traditional markets. By the 18th, up to five traditional markets participating in the contest will be selected based on their online channel operation plans, participation level, and compatibility with the Regular Customer Market project. Selected regular customer markets will receive up to 20 million KRW in promotional support funds for KakaoTalk channels and 3 million KRW for KakaoTalk channel advertising message dispatch costs. Marketing activities such as promotional material production and local advertising will also be supported. Various solutions linked to Kakao’s services will be provided, including opportunities to join the KakaoTalk Store and participate in online special exhibitions, KakaoTalk Bizboard advertising, KakaoMap indoor map construction, and KakaoPay integration. A professional digital tutor will visit to provide one-on-one customized education.

Additionally, through the 'Visiting Follow-up Education' program, merchants who have participated in the Regular Customer Market will be continuously supported to utilize digital assets. On-site face-to-face education and consulting will be provided for merchants who want to further grow their KakaoTalk channels, and Kakao Friends shopping baskets will be offered as promotional items to activate the channels.

Meanwhile, Kakao plans to integrate and strengthen small business digital transformation support projects such as 'Regular Customer Market' and 'Regular Customer Street' under 'Project Danggol.' Various programs will be prepared so that small business owners in markets and local shopping districts nationwide can continuously communicate with regular customers and conduct business activities in a digital environment.

Park Yoon-seok, Kakao’s Shared Growth Performance Leader, said, "We have prepared new programs to support traditional market merchants in securing their presence online and attracting more regular customers." He added, "We will continue to develop useful support programs for market merchants and small business owners by utilizing Kakao’s services and platforms."
