Kyungdong Navien announced on the 4th that it will collaborate with Jaigaist, a subsidiary of GS Construction specializing in detached houses, to build smart homes applying Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

With growing public interest in detached houses and the recent expansion of the second home market, the two companies have decided to join forces to enhance customer convenience and strengthen security. In the future, Kyungdong Navien's Navien Smart Home System will be offered as an option for modular detached houses constructed by Jaigaist.

Kyungdong Navien's Navien Smart Home System is a solution that allows easy control of various devices such as the front door, condensing boiler, ventilation purifier, master light switch, and CCTV through an indoor wall pad or smartphone. In particular, when linked with the ventilation purifier, the wall pad enables real-time monitoring of indoor air quality. The system also includes a security feature that notifies the smartphone if illegal intrusion is detected through sensors installed inside the house.
