"Utilizing AI and Robots in Logistics" Hyundai Movex Developers Conference

About 100 employees of Hyundai Movex, a logistics and IT service company, gathered at the Hyundai Group Grand Auditorium on the 3rd for a developer conference (HMXDC), the company announced. This was the first time the event was held to discuss the company's future innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, as well as future development directions.

The employees shared key industrial technology trends including smart factories, smart logistics, big data, predictive maintenance, and demand forecasting. They discussed ways to advance the company’s core technology, smart logistics, and strengthen technological competitiveness. The meeting, hosted by the company’s R&D headquarters, featured researchers presenting the company’s developed unmanned transport robots, autonomous driving technology, robot control systems, and warehouse control systems.


The company is continuing to secure orders in various fields by leveraging its smart logistics solutions. Following last year’s order volume exceeding 400 billion KRW, this year’s first half alone surpassed 300 billion KRW. Do Ik-han, CEO of Hyundai Movex, stated, “Smart logistics is a new growth future industry where diverse and innovative technologies converge. Enhancing AI and robotics technologies and applying them efficiently is the core of business competitiveness and can guarantee the company’s future.”
