The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province selected 109 participants for the Suwon Youth Administrative Experience program for the second half of this year and held an orientation at the Suwon City Hall auditorium on the 3rd.

The first group of 66 participants will work from the 3rd to the 31st of this month, and the second group of 43 participants will work from August 1 to October 31.

Suwon City previously selected participants through a random draw, and the work departments were assigned randomly using a random number program after collecting preferred work locations by four districts: Jangan, Gwonseon, Paldal, and Yeongtong.

The Youth Administrative Experience program provides an opportunity for young people aged 19 to 34 preparing for employment to work at Suwon City Hall, business offices, district offices, and Dong Administrative Welfare Centers, gaining firsthand experience in municipal administration.

Working hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an hourly wage of 10,570 KRW plus weekly holiday pay.

Libraries, art museums, exhibition halls, and health centers may have substitute weekend shifts depending on the work location.
