Doosan Enerbility Holds 'K-Wonjeon Technology Supporters'
Supporting Partner Companies' Technology Through Regular Exchanges
Jung Yeon-in, Vice Chairman of Doosan Enerbility, met with nuclear power plant partner company technicians to express gratitude for their hard work and urged them to strengthen quality.
Doosan Enerbility announced on the 4th that it held a meeting by inviting on-site technicians from nuclear power plant partner companies as part of the 'K-Nuclear Power Technology Supporters.' The meeting, held on the 3rd at Doosan Enerbility headquarters in Changwon, Gyeongnam, was attended by 18 key partner company technicians involved in the production of main nuclear power plant equipment, 3 managers, Vice Chairman Jung, Kim Jong-du, Head of the Nuclear BG, and 3 masters in welding, processing, and non-destructive testing.

Launched last year to strengthen nuclear power manufacturing technology competitiveness, the 'K-Nuclear Power Technology Supporters' consists of Doosan Enerbility’s top in-house technical experts who directly transfer their accumulated experience to partner company technicians. Customized technical support services, including partner company quality consulting, are provided on an ongoing basis.
Through the meeting, Doosan Enerbility shared ▲excellent cases of quality improvement ▲awarded outstanding technicians ▲listened to the difficulties faced by partner company technicians. Afterwards, the partner company technicians shared technology with Doosan Enerbility masters at the Changwon factory and visited the construction site of the Saeul Nuclear Power Plant Unit 4, scheduled for completion next year, to directly check the installation status of products manufactured by partner company technicians.
Ryu In-tae, Deputy General Manager of Youngjin Tecwin, who attended the event, said, "This site visit was a very meaningful time to see how the efforts of our partner company technicians come to fruition," and added, "We will strive to secure even more perfect quality in the future."
Vice Chairman Jung said, "I deeply appreciate the hard work of the nuclear power plant partner company technicians, and your efforts are strengthening the competitiveness of our nuclear power industry," adding, "Let us do our best to secure higher quality through continuous technical cooperation between Doosan and partner companies so that we can contribute to overseas nuclear power plant orders."
