Opening Instagram Sub-Channel... Promoting Policy Field Storytelling with Card News
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kkumdori's birth, the Kkumssi Family, created for this occasion, has launched a sub Instagram channel promoting city administration through daily life in Daejeon, gaining over 1,100 followers in just over a month.
According to Daejeon City on the 4th, Kkumssine Daejeon Life features the Kkumssi Family, appointed as Daejeon City promotional ambassadors last March, providing life-related information from the first-person perspective of each character. The channel is characterized by directly promoting policies through storytelling card news based on policy sites.
Examples introduced include Kkumdori, who has multiple children, using the Dream Tree Love Card to ride the subway for free, and visiting the Daejeon City Hall Communication Civil Service Office on World Multicultural Day to learn about support policies for multicultural families.
Additionally, to mark the first anniversary of the Public Children's Rehabilitation Hospital's opening, the channel toured the hospital facilities and interviewed officials, and also visited Hanbat Library to introduce Daejeon City's library policies, including plans to build the Dongdaejeon Municipal Library.
The city plans to share content with Instagram channels of affiliated organizations, including the Daejeon Tourism Organization, to ensure content diversity.
Lee Ho-young, Daejeon City's Public Relations Officer, said, "To enhance policy awareness, we launched a sub Instagram channel themed on the Kkumssi Family's life in Daejeon," adding, "We will do our best to promote city administration closely related to daily life through on-site storytelling card news and short-form content."
