Audin Futures announced on the 4th that it has signed a secondary battery auxiliary equipment supply contract worth approximately 3 billion KRW with Gapjin.
The company explained, "The mold cost related to this is 200 million KRW, and the first sales related to secondary batteries amount to a total of 3.2 billion KRW."
The contract amount corresponds to 8.96% of recent sales, and the contract period is from today until December 31.
Previously, Audin Futures signed a production consignment contract for charging and discharging process equipment with Gapjin last year. This contract is a follow-up measure, and the company expects substantial secondary battery-related sales to occur in the future.
Gapjin, a major domestic secondary battery charging and discharging equipment company, is known to be responsible for charging and discharging Samsung SDI's all-solid-state batteries. It has also supplied equipment to global clients such as ONE (Our Next Energy), founded by former leaders of Apple's autonomous vehicle Titan project, BYD, and Geumyang.
Audin Futures was recently selected as a 'Global Small Giant' through a project led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and is currently expanding the global market share of its operating cosmetics brand business.
A company representative stated, "We are growing as a leading K-beauty company in major countries' online and offline markets, including the United States (Amazon, Costco online, etc.), Japan (over 10 brand offline stores and Q10 online, etc.), and the European Union (EU)," adding, "With the expansion of the K-beauty global market and the concretization of secondary battery-related sales, performance growth will become visible."
