Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, held the 'Our Neighborhood Talk Correspondent Appointment Ceremony' on the morning of the 3rd at the auditorium of the Yeongdeungpo District Office annex.
'Our Neighborhood Talk Correspondents' is a unique two-way promotional system of Yeongdeungpo District designed to effectively promote beneficial district news, communicate directly with residents, and establish policies. It serves as a communication channel that gathers residents' opinions, moving away from one-sided promotional methods.
The Talk Correspondents consist of a total of 485 members, including members of organizations and committees interested in local affairs, as well as members of local communities. The district will hold appointment ceremonies in a total of eight sessions starting from July 1st.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "I am honored to meet the Talk Correspondents here today and thank you for your great interest. The voices of residents are the driving force behind the district's development. We will reflect the opinions of residents shared by the Talk Correspondents in our policies and undertake various initiatives. We will also do our best to ensure that no one misses out on benefits due to lack of information by actively sharing district news."
