Emart Group's 'Family Week'... "Stronger Discounts Coming This Weekend"

Half Price on 15 Star Products Plus Food and Daily Necessities

Emart announced on the 4th that it will hold a weekend discount event from the 5th to the 7th in collaboration with Traders Wholesale Club, No Brand, Emart Everyday, and Emart24.


This event is an extension of the 'Emart Family Week' promotion, which started on the 1st to celebrate the launch of the integrated Emart, combining Emart and Emart Everyday.

During the event, all offline channels will offer up to half-price discounts on food and daily necessities, including 15 'Star Products' with maximized price benefits through integrated purchasing by the three Emart companies: the original Emart, Emart Everyday, and Emart24.


Emart will focus on discount sales of fresh and processed foods as well as daily necessities. Representative products include domestic Korean beef sirloin, chuck flap tail and imported chilled pork, Norwegian salmon fillet sashimi, domestic antibiotic-free chicken stew, domestic Daeseok plums, domestic Alchan eggs, frozen hot dogs, bagged ramen, summer innerwear, kitchen towels, and Huggies diapers. Prices are up to 50% cheaper compared to usual.


During the event period, Traders will discount 60 popular items including seasonal fresh foods like chamoe (Korean melon) and whiskey. Discounts apply when accumulating SSG points. Additionally, for seven products such as U.S. chilled choice short ribs, animal welfare certified eggs, and Mille-feuille Nabe, Samsung Card payments will receive an additional discount of up to 8,000 KRW.


At No Brand, items such as onions, nectarine peaches, Chilean smoked salmon, Jin Bibim noodles, and animal welfare certified eggs will be sold at 50% off or buy one get one free when accumulating SSG points. Emart Everyday also offers buy one get one free and 50% discount benefits on all items. Emart24 will hold a pick-and-mix event for beverages and snacks, which see a surge in sales during summer.


Choi Jin-il, head of marketing at Emart, said, "As the integrated Emart has officially launched, we will continue to offer various events so that customers can enjoy price benefits whether they shop at marts, supermarkets, or convenience stores."
