Legal Tech BHSN "Contract Review and Revision with AI... Launching Entry into Japan"

On the 3rd, Lim Jeong-geun, CEO of BHSN, held the company's first press conference since its founding at DreamPlus in Seocho-gu, Seoul, stating, "We will expand our business globally, including the full-scale launch of our business in Japan this year."

BHSN introduced its software-as-a-service solution "allibee," which, based on AI, reviews contracts and assists corporate decision-making beyond legal tasks by searching internal databases as well as overseas laws, precedents, and academic papers.

CEO Lim said, “Allibee will expand its service scope from focusing on improving efficiency in legal tasks such as contracts and legal advice to a comprehensive B2B (business-to-business) solution that supports business decision-making and helps build business strategies for companies, institutions, and law firms.”

Allibee is a small large language model (sLLM) specialized in legal matters. Based on AI technology, it facilitates accurate communication without confusion among stakeholders and enhances lawyers’ work efficiency and productivity.

Kim Hyung-jun, BHSN’s Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO), introduced Allibee by saying, "It reviews contracts based on checklists and guidelines that lawyers actually use, and even suggests revisions for contract contents that violate company policies."

Allibee can grasp multiple pages of complex contracts within seconds and identify sections containing harmful clauses. It also learns from accumulated legal advisory data from companies or law firms to draft initial versions based on past cases when advisory requests come in.

He added that to support companies’ global businesses, Allibee includes functions that provide business insights based on overseas laws, government policies, and precedents from countries such as Vietnam and China.

He further explained, "Compared to the overseas AI search startup 'Perplexity,' Allibee offers answers better tailored to user needs regarding legal requirements and contract types."

CEO Lim expressed his ambition, saying, "We aim to become an all-in-one AI business solution company that innovates work processes by shortening business processes through legal AI technology."
