This business agreement aims to establish a cooperative system between Pyeongtaek City and the Pyeongtaek Office of Education through mutual sharing of materials and information for the promotion of establishing a science high school, and the formation of a consultative body.
Mayor Jeong Jang-seon stated, "Pyeongtaek City has the optimal location for nurturing outstanding talents in the field of science, with infrastructure such as advanced industries including semiconductors, hydrogen, future automobiles, and the KAIST campus under development," and added, "We will actively work with the Pyeongtaek Office of Education to attract a science high school."
