Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province held the final selection for participants of the '2024 Summer Vacation Student Job Program' on the 2nd at the county office's main conference room, aiming to help university students gain experience and build their resumes in the public sector, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the job market and providing opportunities to earn income.
To ensure fairness in the selection process, Yeongdeok County used an open on-site lottery system to select 39 participants from 101 applicants. The selected students will experience administrative and management work at local town offices, beaches, and recreational sites from the 8th of this month until the 23rd of next month.
Yoon Sawon, head of the Job and Economy Division, stated, "I hope this student job program will provide an opportunity for participants to experience various job roles, identify their talents, and further develop them. As there is high interest among local university students, we will seek to expand the program to offer more opportunities in a wider range of fields."
