Changwon Special City to Recruit 726 Participants for Second Half Public Job Program

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam Province will recruit 192 participants for the Local Community Job Project from July 8 to 12, and 534 participants for the Public Work Project from July 15 to 19, as part of the '2024 Second Half Public Job Project.'

The second half public job project consists of the ▲Local Community Job Project (25 workplaces, 192 participants), which focuses on region-specific jobs such as resource recycling and tourism resource utilization, and the ▲Public Work Project (230 workplaces, 534 participants), which provides public services such as facility environment maintenance and administrative service support.


Eligibility requirements include being a Changwon citizen aged 18 or older as of September 2, 2024, with a household income at or below 60% of the median income, and combined family assets not exceeding 300 million KRW. Applicants must be registered job seekers without regular income and must be capable of working.


Those wishing to participate must bring their ID and other supporting documents and apply in person at the administrative welfare center of their place of residence. Duplicate applications for both the Local Community Job Project and the Public Work Project are not allowed.


Selected participants will work for three months from September 2 to November 30, four hours a day. They will receive a monthly salary and weekly/monthly leave allowances, as well as snack expenses, based on the minimum wage of 9,860 KRW.
