Consumer-Centered Finance and Diverse Social Contribution Initiatives
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) has been selected as the No. 1 company in the '2024 Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) Regional Bank Sector' for the third consecutive year, hosted by the Korean Standards Association.
The Korea Service Quality Index, now in its 25th year, is a service quality evaluation model jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and the Seoul National University Business Research Institute. It is a comprehensive indicator that measures the level of satisfaction with service quality among customers who have experienced the products or services of domestic service companies.
Since its establishment in 1967, Busan Bank has served as a leading local company and a pillar of regional finance in Busan for 57 years, supporting 74.3% of all SME loans in the region.
In addition, Busan Bank is making every effort to provide convenience for local customers by operating branches for financially marginalized groups, such as elderly customers, even at a loss.
According to the '2023 Social Contribution Activity Report' released by the Korea Federation of Banks, Busan Bank ranked first among all banks in the ratio of social contribution projects to net profit. The bank also carries out various volunteer activities every month through 16 district volunteer groups in the Busan area, composed of its employees.
Busan Bank is taking the lead in solving social issues in the region, such as low birth rates and childcare, by offering specialized products for marriage and childbirth and supporting housing loans for newlyweds. The bank is also committed to providing digital-based financial and administrative convenience through the operation of the local currency project Dongbaekjeon and a citizen platform.

BNK Busan Bank, which has been ranked first in the local bank sector of the Korea Service Quality Index for three consecutive years, is carrying out social contribution projects.
