On the 3rd, Kim Byung-joo, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, called Chairman Sung Il-jong at the National Defense Committee meeting room in the National Assembly to demand the convening of a meeting. The ruling party, including Chairman Sung, abruptly canceled the scheduled full meeting of the National Defense Committee, demanding an apology for Kim Byung-joo's remarks during the government questioning session held the previous day.
