Jeju Beer announced on the 3rd that it will participate in the ‘2024 Japan Osaka Yakiniku Business Fair’ held in Osaka, Japan, as part of its efforts to actively target overseas markets for business normalization.

Jeju Beer "Accelerates Entry into Japanese Local Market"

This event is hosted by the ‘Yakiniku Business Fair’ and is a combination of the existing ‘Yakiniku Business Fair’ and ‘Izakaya Japan’ exhibitions. It is Japan’s only major annual specialized exhibition targeting the yakiniku industry and all dining and food industries dealing with meat dishes.

The event is mainly attended by buyers, especially known for a high attendance rate of decision-makers such as managers, owners, and chefs.

At this exhibition, Jeju Beer plans to showcase its flagship brand ‘Jeju Wit Ale,’ which began local sales in Japan on the 24th of last month.

A representative from Jeju Beer stated, “In Japan, four companies?Asahi, Kirin, Suntory, and Sapporo?account for 99% of the entire market. We plan to present Jeju Beer’s unique and refreshing taste to Japanese consumers who have experienced many Korean foods through the Korean Wave,” adding, “We will captivate Japanese consumers’ tastes with strategies tailored to their diversified needs. We ask for your great interest and support.”

Meanwhile, since the management change in May, Jeju Beer has been taking swift steps toward business normalization, and through a distribution contract with China’s Hualun Beer last month, it plans to distribute ‘Seolhwa Beer,’ the world’s top-selling beer in global sales as of July, domestically.
