Exclusive 'Panpan Duty-Free' for Small and Medium Enterprises

New Store Opening in November
The Small and Medium Business Distribution Center has been selected as the new operator of a duty-free shop exclusively for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) products within the departure hall of Incheon International Airport.

On the 3rd, the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center announced that it was chosen as the new operator of a duty-free shop at Incheon International Airport through the Korea Customs Service bonded sales area licensing review.
Through this selection, the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center will operate three additional locations in Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport. Adding to the existing three locations, it will operate a total of six locations (two in Terminal 1 and four in Terminal 2).
The duty-free shop exclusively for SME products, "Panpan Duty-Free Shop," was established in 2021 to support SMEs facing difficulties in expanding overseas sales channels. In 2023, the first full year of operation, Panpan Duty-Free Shop’s sales increased by more than 101% compared to the previous year. Additionally, it has been evaluated as a stable duty-free operator by receiving an A grade for two consecutive years in the regulatory compliance performance assessment conducted by the Korea Customs Service.
Panpan Duty-Free Shop plans to open a new store in November this year after interior construction and other preparations. SMEs wishing to enter can apply through the Panpan Duty-Free website.
Lee Tae-sik, CEO of the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, stated, "We will strengthen cooperation with Incheon International Airport Corporation and Incheon Airport Main Customs Office to ensure that Panpan Duty-Free Shop becomes a leader in helping SMEs expand their overseas sales channels."
