Jeff Robinson, the Australian Ambassador to Korea, who gave the keynote speech, also stated, "As the Australian government recently provides active incentives for local resource development, opportunities for Korean companies to participate will expand," and added, "We hope to maintain a long-term partnership with Korea in the supply chain sector going forward."

Meanwhile, prior to this subcommittee meeting, Ryu Jin, Chairman of the Korea Economic Association, met with Chairman Ferguson to exchange views on cooperation measures between Korean and Australian companies.
