The inspection targets include city hall and district office cafeterias using cooking oil or gas, the Green Park Management Office using gasoline-powered lawn mowers, the Agricultural Technology Center using laboratory reagents, and the Water and Sewage Business Office.

During the inspection, it will be checked whether fire extinguishers are adequately provided in buildings handling hazardous materials vulnerable to fire, and education on safe management methods and operating procedures will be conducted. In addition, guidelines on how to minimize damage in case of fire will be provided, and fire extinguishers will be placed in official vehicles to enable proactive response in the event of a fire.

A city official stated, "With recent incidents causing casualties and property damage due to various fires, we thoroughly checked fire prevention measures to ensure citizens can use public buildings with peace of mind," adding, "We will strengthen disaster response training by systematically conducting fire drills twice a year for citizens and public officials."
