13 Supporters Bring New Energy to School Promotion
Daegu Cyber University held an inauguration ceremony for the ‘DCU Supporters’ at the CIR Room in the university’s main building on the 28th of last month, officially announcing the start of their activities to promote the university and facilitate communication.
The DCU Supporters project was created to overcome the limitations of an online university and to promote student-participatory marketing as well as enhance communication and networking.
The selection of supporters was conducted through an open online recruitment in April, followed by document screening and interviews, resulting in the final selection of 13 supporters.
The event was attended by Executive Vice President Jeon Jongguk, DCU Supporters, and university officials, during which appointment certificates were presented to the selected supporters and guidance was provided on their roles as university ambassadors and their upcoming activities.
The 13 selected DCU Supporters plan to engage in a variety of activities, including: promotional activities and counseling support on the student council website; participation in various admissions briefings and program planning; operation of promotional booths at university festivals and expos; and international volunteer activities for the 2024 academic year. Their term will run until February 28, 2025.
Jeon Jongguk, Executive Vice President of Daegu Cyber University, said, “I hope that every step you take here today will be a proud contribution to the promotion and development of the university, and that this will be an opportunity for all of us to grow together.”
