Female-dominated community mocks traffic accident at Sicheong Station... It has been revealed that all the victims of the traffic accident near Seoul City Hall Station were male, and in relation to this, numerous posts mocking the victims appeared on women-centered communities.


On an online community, the driver who caused the traffic accident near City Hall Station on the 2nd was referred to as 'galbae' (a derogatory slang term for elderly men). One commenter used expressions such as 'hannam killer' (a derogatory slang term for Korean men).


Regarding the fact that all nine victims who died in the accident were male, the phrase 'good die' was used. Additionally, comments like "So many gone, it's a festival" and "Since there are many Korean men, it's a natural phenomenon that only Korean men die" were made.


The controversial community is known to be exclusive to women. As criticism arose within the community about the posts, the posts have now been deleted.


Meanwhile, on the night of the 1st, a major traffic accident occurred near Exit 7 of City Hall Station in Jung-gu, Seoul, where a passenger car drove in the wrong direction and crashed onto the sidewalk, hitting pedestrians, resulting in nine deaths and four injuries. The police apprehended the driver of the offending vehicle, A (68), at the scene. It was confirmed that A was not under the influence of alcohol, and he is reported to be claiming 'sudden unintended acceleration.'
