[Tomorrow's Weather] Heavy Jangma Rain Across the Country Until Afternoon... High Temperature 32°C

"Be Cautious of Safety Accidents"

On Wednesday the 3rd, the monsoon rain will continue nationwide and mostly stop during the day. However, in the eastern Gyeonggi region and the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, rain may continue until the evening.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 2nd, the expected rainfall over two days starting from the previous day is 20 to 60 mm in northern Gyeonggi, the five western islands, central and northern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, southern Chungnam, and southern Chungbuk. Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, southern inland and mountainous Gangwon, and the Gangwon East Coast are forecasted to receive 5 to 40 mm, and central and northern Chungbuk 10 to 40 mm of rain.

During the same period, Gwangju and Jeonnam will receive 30 to 80 mm (with some areas over 100 mm), Jeonbuk, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam 10 to 50 mm (with some areas over 60 mm), Daegu and Gyeongbuk 10 to 60 mm, and Jeju Island, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo 5 to 30 mm of rain.

Since heavy rain has already fallen, and more heavy rain is expected again, caution is advised against damage caused by river flooding and other related hazards. Also, in the West Coast, South Coast, and Jeju Island where strong wind warnings have been issued, very strong winds with instantaneous speeds exceeding 70 km/h will blow until the morning, so facility management and safety precautions are necessary.

The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius. The highest apparent temperature will rise to around 33 degrees Celsius mainly in Gyeongbuk and Jeju Island, making it very hot, so please refer to the heatwave impact forecast and be cautious of heat-related illnesses. Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation.

The sea waves will be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore. The wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 5.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.

In the offshore sea of Gyeongbuk and the central offshore East Sea, winds will blow very strongly at speeds of 35 to 70 km/h, and waves will be very high at 2.0 to 4.0 meters, so vessels engaged in navigation and fishing should exercise special caution.
