Baedal Minjok is making 'Baemin Club,' which offers unlimited delivery tip discounts, a paid service. The monthly fee is 3,990 KRW.
On the 2nd, Baemin notified restaurant owners of this information. Starting from the 20th of next month, only customers who pay the usage fee will be able to receive Baemin Club benefits. During the pre-registration period beginning on the 9th, Baemin will apply a promotional price of 1,990 KRW and provide at least one month of free usage.
Baemin hinted at the service becoming paid by stating that the subscription service 'Baemin Club,' introduced on the 28th of last month, was in a 'trial period.'
At stores marked with the Baemin Club label, budget delivery (bundled multiple orders) has no delivery fee, and if ordering single-house delivery, the delivery tip is discounted to 1,000 KRW or less. Additional delivery fees based on distance are also free.
