Received Explanation of Core Strategies from Glocal Promotion Committee

Kyungnam University, which is leading Changwon's leap forward and the digital transformation of the National Industrial Complex while continuing its innovations for official designation in the Glocal University 30 project, held a meeting with the Staff Council to gather support and capabilities from its members necessary for the stable implementation of the Glocal University 30 and RISE projects.

At the meeting held at 11 a.m. on the 2nd in the International Seminar Room, executives from the Staff Council, representing the university's administrative staff, attended and received explanations from the Glocal University 30 Project Promotion Committee regarding the Glocal University Innovation Plan, core strategies, and specific implementation plans.


In particular, there was a Q&A session to help university members understand the main core strategies: ▲ campus expansion through openness and collaborative networking (HUB-SPOKE strategy) ▲ curriculum innovation for nurturing demand-based digital convergence talent ▲ academic structure innovation for fostering convergence talent, among others.


Lee Sungho, President of the Staff Council, stated, "Kyungnam University has produced 150,000 talented individuals over the past 78 years and has been a prestigious private university leading all fields of the local community." He added, "The official designation of Kyungnam University's 'Glocal University 30 Project' will not only secure the university's competitiveness but also drive changes and advancements in the regional industrial structure, becoming the center of an innovative ecosystem where the local community and the university grow together."
