The Chengdu Panda Base in Sichuan Province, China, where the giant panda Fu Bao lives, has issued a 'lifetime ban' on visitors who ignored regulations and brought pets into the base.

On the 2nd, the official social media account of the Wolong Giant Panda Research Center Xueshuping Base in Sichuan Province posted that "a group of four people, including Mr. Limo (39), entered the base with pets hidden in their bags despite knowing that pets are not allowed inside."

A representative from the base stated that Mr. Limo's actions violated the park's admission and visitation regulations. They added, "Such behavior can cause serious harm to the pandas," and declared, "Mr. Limo is banned for life from entering and visiting the Wolong China Giant Panda Research Center Xueshuping Base."

They further explained, "Following the investigation, the physical condition of the pandas is normal," and assured, "We will continue to pay close attention to the health and safety of all pandas to ensure their well-being."

Additionally, from this day forward, all tourists entering the Xueshuping Base must open their bags for inspection. Those who do not cooperate may be denied entry.

The base emphasized, "We ask all visitors to behave politely and comply with the admission and visitation regulations. Bringing pets, flammable or explosive materials, toxic or harmful items into the base is strictly prohibited, and feeding, throwing objects, or smoking is also forbidden."

Meanwhile, the nearby Dujiangyan Base issued a lifetime ban last April on a visitor who threw biscuits to a panda.
