Senko Participates in the Largest Ever International Safety and Health Exhibition

Celebrating 20th Anniversary with Booth Size Five Times Larger
Exhibition of 20 Product Lines Featuring Electrochemical Gas Sensors

Senco, a specialist company in electrochemical gas sensors, announced on the 2nd that it will participate in the ‘2024 Korea International Safety & Health Show.’ The exhibition will be held from the 1st to the 4th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Goyang City.

Through this exhibition, Senco plans to showcase its advanced portable and fixed gas detectors, including the newly certified 'Duo Tracer' with recent international explosion-proof certifications (IECEx) and European explosion-proof certifications (ATEX), along with its cloud-integrated monitoring platform.

The Korea International Safety & Health Show, hosted by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency and sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is the largest domestic exhibition in the safety and health sector. Since its first event in 1983, this year marks its 41st edition. The exhibition is divided into five sectors: ▲Industrial Safety Protective Equipment ▲Industrial Health and Occupational Health ▲Public Service and Public Safety Management ▲Smart Safety ▲Chemical Industry Safety and Disaster Prevention Industry, with a total of 950 booths.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Senco expanded its booth size by about five times compared to previous years, exhibiting over 20 product lines incorporating its electrochemical gas sensor technology, including ▲portable gas detectors ▲fixed gas detectors ▲odor meters ▲cloud-based integrated monitoring systems ▲air quality meters.

The portable gas detector ‘SGT’ is a disposable-type single gas detector that can operate for about two years without battery or sensor replacement. The ‘MGT’ is a portable multi-gas detector capable of simultaneously measuring four major gases, protecting workers in various industrial sites. The fixed gas detector ‘SI-H100’ uses a sensor cartridge inside the case to remotely draw sample gas and measure it in real time, making it suitable for use in semiconductor and various industrial environments.

Ha Seung-cheol, CEO of Senco, stated, “From the first day of the exhibition, many industry representatives visited our booth, inquiring about our products and requesting samples. We were able to reaffirm our excellent technology and competitiveness in the gas safety equipment market.”

He added, “Our portable gas detectors have already secured references from major global customers and are expanding their market share. The fixed gas detectors are currently undergoing sample testing with new customers such as Huawei and SMIC in China. This exhibition will be a great opportunity to acquire new clients.”
