Donation of 2 Million Won ... To Be Used for Community Welfare Projects
Haman County, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 2nd that Heo Sik, former Vice President of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Nonghyup), has participated in the Hometown Love Donation Program for Haman County.
Heo Sik, originally from Goseong, Gyeongnam, served as the head of the Haman County branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation in 2009, the head of the Gyeongnam regional headquarters in 2010, Executive Director (Vice President) in 2016, and Vice President in 2019. He retired in 2020 and is currently serving as an advisor at Deloitte Anjin LLC.

Heo Sik stated, "I am delighted to be able to support Haman, with which I have longstanding ties from my time at the Nonghyup Haman branch, through the Hometown Love Donation Program," and added, "I hope the donations will be put to good use for the development of Haman."
In response, Cho Geunje, the mayor of Haman County, said, "I sincerely thank former Vice President Heo Sik for expressing such deep interest and affection for Haman based on our long-standing relationship," and added, "The valuable donations will be used for projects that enhance the welfare of residents, ensuring satisfaction for both donors and the community."
